Home Health Registered Nurse

The RN provides nursing care to the client as requested by the client and, when required, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the policies of the company. Uses supplies and equipment effectively and efficiently. Observe the client for changes in condition, discusses changes with the client or family/caregiver and reports changes, as required, to the attending physician. Assists the client with activities of daily living and facilitates the client's efforts toward self-sufficiency and independence. Teaches the client and family/caregiver self-care techniques as appropriate. Provides medication, diet and other instructions as ordered by the physician and recognizes and utilizes opportunities for health counseling wit clients and families/caregivers. Is a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Is currently licensed as and RN through the Alabama State Board of Nursing. Has at least one year's general nursing experience, with current home care, medical, surgical, and critical care experience. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or company requirements and is in good working order.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
