Account Executive - Telephone Sales


With a bright future in front of us, we are actively seeking talented and motivated sales professionals to sell our media and advertising solutions. In this position you will contact current and new business customers by telephone for the sale and servicing of advertising across web, mobile and print platforms. This position works in a high energy, fast paced outbound call center and has a focus on account analysis preparation, customer needs assessment, and professional recommendations that meet each customer's specific needs.

This position is based in our Birmingham, Alabama location.

Requirements

1 year cumulative inside or outside call center (business to business) sales experience or a related business degree
Technical/Internet Proficiency

Organizational Skills

Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed sales objectives and productivity requirements including new customer acquisition and customer retention.
Consults with businesses to obtain pertinent information about the business itself, potential markets, and problems faced in doing business, current advertising results from it. Discuss role of digital advertising in attracting new customers and retaining clientele.
Utilizes hunting techniques to identify and convert new business into paid advertisers daily
Inputs into a data entry terminal and/or prepares advertising contracts, advertising copy, forms and letters, thus handling a high volume of paper work.
Works with reference material, including sales practice, specifications, standards and regulations.
Accepts, absorbs and applies training, as instructed, following the company functional selling plan.
Records information in a manner so that others can interpret accurately.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
